TRANSACTION ACCOUNT GUARANTEE PROGRAM
Union Bank is participating in the FDIC's Transaction Account Guarantee Program. Under that program, through December 31, 2010, all non-interest bearing accounts (excluding NOW accounts) are fully guaranteed by the FDIC for the entire amount in the account. Any funds transferred from your non-interest bearing checking account into an account that earns interest at this bank will continue to receive FDIC insurance coverage under the FDIC's general deposit insurance rules. These transferred funds however, will no longer qualify for unlimited coverage under the FDIC's Transaction Account Guarantee Program.
